On October 6, 2018 Troop 128 had 27 scouts, along with 21 Cub scouts, camping in McLean Central Park the day before the MPA Artfest.
After setting up their tents, Cub scouts were assigned to five different patrols that they would eat with. After eating, troop 128 scouts taught the cub scouts how to clean their dishes properly. Around 9:00 pm both boy scouts and cub scouts played manhunt until about 10:30 pm, which was lights out. In the morning, everyone took down their tents and packed their bags. Both Cub Scouts and Boy scouts then proceeded to help transport artists’ artwork from their vehicles for the MPA Artfest. This volunteer work continued until scouts got picked up.
