Welcome to Troop 128!
Scouts BSA Troop 128 is the oldest Boy Scout Troop in McLean, VA. In 2019, we celebrated our 95th year of creating young men of character and discipline who will lead our community and nation into the future.
More than 150 young men have taken their journey to Eagle Scout – scouting’s highest rank, with Troop 128. Our Troop is home to about 70 boys from McLean, Falls Church and Arlington. The troop is very active in the outdoors with more than 20 outings per year – including summer camp, and high adventure trips for scouts 13 and above and 14 and above held every summer.
You are invited to visit the troop to see if our family is the right fit for yours. Generally, we meet outside, with an indoor option (and virtual link) every Monday from 7:00-8:15 PM, with the first Monday of each month being our Patrol Leaders’ Council meeting and Patrol meetings to plan for the month’s activities. Visit our calendar
If you have questions, visit our Unit Leaders page to find contact information for the troop’s adult leaders.
