Welcome to Troop 128!
Scouts BSA Troop 128 is the oldest Boy Scout Troop in McLean, VA. In 2024, we will be celebrating our 100 years of scouting. Stay tuned for more details on our exciting lineup of events planned for the year!
More than 150 young men have taken their journey to Eagle Scout – scouting’s highest rank, with Troop 128. Our Troop is home to about 70 boys from McLean, Falls Church and Arlington. The troop is very active in the outdoors with more than 20 outings per year – including summer camp, and high adventure trips for scouts 13 and above and 14 and above held every summer.
You are invited to visit the troop to see if our family is the right fit for yours. We meet every Monday at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Georgetown Pike from 7:00-8:15 PM, with the first Monday of each month being our Patrol Leaders’ Council meeting and Patrol meetings to plan for the month’s activities. If you have questions, visit our Unit Leaders page to find contact information for the troop’s adult leaders.
